PurseBlog Beauty: 6 products in Megs’ appeal Bag for spring

I have a confession: I’m not a big appeal junkie. I always say that if I had a makeup artist come to my home daily, it would be the utmost luxury. (Throw in a hair person as well–I really need a hair person.) This indicates my appeal routine is rather simplistic. I haven’t tried, let alone mastered, the art of contouring, I can improvise a smokey eye but it’s not even close to perfected, and at least half the week, I leave the house sans makeup.

However, I love a good skincare routine, and while I am not a appeal guru in the least bit, I always have a few items that are my go-tos. For spring, these are the six items that I not only plan to use, but already own and am using.

La Prairie Anti-Aging Eye and Lip perfection à Porter
$160 by means of Neiman Marcus
La Prairie makes up the majority of my skin care routine, from their anti-aging creams to eye serums, I adore their products. The Eye and Lip porter is a personal favorite, it slides into my makeup pouch and when my lips start to dry or eyes look a little fatigued, I use this.

Chanel Le Vernis Pink Tonic nail Color
$27 by means of Chanel
Some people say Chanel polish chips easily, but it actually lasts long on me and I adore the colors. I have way too lots of nail polishes to be considered sane, but I just added this color to my collection and love the color of pink.

Dior Addict Gloss
$29.50 by means of Saks
Dior Addict Gloss is simply amazing! The gloss continues to moisturize which is unlike lots of glosses and the color slides on easily and lasts long.

Oribe Travel-Sized Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray
$22 by means of Net-A-Porter
Typically, I use Oribe texture spray because about two minutes after finishing my hair it looses all of its volume. but my hair is also really hard to manage in the humidity, so this is my go to.

M·A·C Eyeshadow
$16 by means of Nordstrom
A little swipe of gold eyeshadow really makes my blue eyes pop. I don’t like too much on my eyes, so a couple brushes of eyeshadow and I’m set. MAC still is one of the best when it pertains to beauty.

Lollia Hand Cream
$24 by means of Anthropologie
While I don’t have horribly dry hands, I always have a hand cream with me as I love keeping my hands smooth (plus I share with any individual who says they have dry hands when I’m with them). I was gifted this hand cream and thought it looked pretty but might not work amazingly well, but I was wrong. This cream leaves my hands smooth and the scent is delightful.
