When I think Burberry, this is exactly the type of bag that pertains to mind—classic and chic, with clean lines and basic details. The leather soaks up the color so well, and I am just obsessed with The satchel in navy—or indigo, as it’s called on Burberry’s website. Navy is the best way to wear color while still having a bag that can work as a neutral.

When you open the satchel, there is a small outside pocket, which fit my iphone (it wouldn’t fit the plus size, though). Inside, I fit my sunglasses in their cloth pouch, a small zip-around wallet, a chapstick and a lipstick. There is one interior slit pocket, which is best for a MetroCard or credit scores cards with an ID, if you’re the type to skip a budget with smaller bags. While this bag is small, it’s mighty stylish, which makes it a terrific day bag for the girl who doesn’t carry much.
